This hotel was very new and so everything was very clean! The room was a nice size. It was convenient to a walking path and to lots of restaurants. We walked down the path to a distillery with great drinks and food. The only negative was the breakfast. The people who were overseeing the food were useless. The first morning we were there with 20 min left to the end of service so we understood that there wasnât much left. The next day we were much earlier and it still didnât go well. When we arrived there were no plates so my husband knocked on the kitchen door. No one answered so he opened the door and the girl who was supposed to be supervising the breakfast was there talking with another worker. A minute later we noticed there were no forks. He knocked again, no one came so he opened the door. Same girl chitchatting. We saw many people go up to where the eggs should have been and there werenât any. One man complained and after 5 minutes or so she brought out some more. We noticed that the granola was empty and the counter was covered with cornflakes. The same girl walked by and didnât attempt to clean up or anything.

Our stay was perfect. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The little soufflĂ©s were delicious. Everyone was very friendly, and accomidating. The hotel is within walking distance of a nice riverfront park, which was perfect for a walk with our dogs. Weâd definitely stay here again!

Stayed a week, September 17th through 24th 2024. Cons, shower head 6 1/2 feet high, tough for a shorter person to adjust, with water saver built into it, there was just enough water but no more. Rooms are not cleaned each day, getting tired of the industry's excuse for this. Minor issue ran out of Kleenex and cleaning staff did not notice so we went to the front desk for replacement. Closet for hanging clothing is about 15 inches wide. Not adequate for a couple staying a week who would rather hang up clothing instead of living out of a suit case. Only 4 USB ports in the room. Parking lot lighting was barely adequate, could have used a bit more. "Free" breakfast was just ok, just enough to pass muster but nothing to write home about. Most everything at the hotel was adequate, sorry that there was no apparent effort to make thing better than adequate. Pros, one of the nicest and polite staffs we have ever run across. Any interaction with the front desk or in a hallway and we were treated like the most important people at the hotel. One of the quietest air condition units I have ever run across in a hotel. Our room had two 55" televisions, nice. Hotel just opened in April of 2024 so they, in our opinion are "still getting their feet wet." This means everything is new and working, no real signs of wear. Location near the airport is nice. Even being close to the airport the hotel was on the quiet side. Bottom line we would stay here again on our next trip to Montrose to see friends.

This Fairfield property in Montrose, Colorado opened in the summer of 2024. It is only a mile or two from the Montrose airport. The lobby, dining area, and our room were new and pristine. The bed was comfortable and allowed for a good nightâs sleep. The hotel staff was especially courteous. The free breakfast offered many options for guests. We were happy to see that Montrose has a new hotel. We plan to stay there again on our next visit. We have stayed at other properties in Montrose in the past. This is the best hotel in the area for the price.

we were just passing thru and decided to stay at this new hotel. Check in was very easy, rooms are nice everything being brand new. The pool was super, super small and freezing and hot tub was broken already-- but otherwise it was good! Breakfast was great-- hot items and cold and very well kept.
