La Junta Inn

I rate this room a 2. No hot water Bugs and flies in the room Wi-Fi don’t work. The staff is shady and I would not trust this place. Also the food in the restaurant was terrible. I woke up in the morning to discover there was no hot water when I called the office. They asked me how long it had been running obviously there’s not enough hot waters to supply the guests

front counter staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Indian Restaurant very good, as well. I stayed one night during the week (July 2023) so there were some utility workers staying there too, which can be a little noisy, but they did not stay up late. Rooms were clean except for a lot of flies in the area and get in the room easily. Price and accommodation were good and would stay again; don't think the pool was open though.

My husband booked into this hotel. The bed sheets were brown and discoloured with holes in them, the room had a bad smell and the air-conditioning was very noisy. Manager was uncontactable to speak to. He left and found another hotel. Do not stay at this place, its a health hazard!!! AVOID, AVOID, A

The first room, the A/C had a loud squeal and very little cool air. We were given another room. Although the A/C worked it also had an extremely squeal. It was so loud we got up and left. We went to another motel that was cheaper, cleaner and had great A/C. Find another motel and save yourself some grief.

To best sum up this motel, it appears someone had high hopes to breathe new life into this place, but ran out of money. Furniture/fixtures stacked all over, flowerbeds are filled with weeds. Decent appearing carpet is covered with dead millers and flies. Newer looking lamps are stained beyond help with fly spots. Fancy faucets installed incorrectly and no cold water available. However, the bedding/mattress was clean and comfortable.
