I hate to write a bad review but the room I was put in was a dump. Look at the pictures. The elevator was out and my room was on the 3rd floor. It was late when I arrived but the kid who checked me is wasn't warm or very helpful. He was polite enough but lacked that hospitality attitude. Possibly he wanted to get back to whatever it was he was doing in the back room where he came from.

Broken elevator. Didn't end up staying. Having medical hardware in my spine and being told I was going to have to carry my stuff up the stairs decided to look elsewhere. This is the 2nd bad expereince I've had with a hotel on Horizon Drive, done staying on horizon drive in gerenal.

Was glad to be near the college with family. However, when we got there we were informed the elevator was broken and there were no first floor rooms left. Having pleasent expereinces with Super 8s in the past we decided to go to the Super 8 in Fruita instead (where they had a working elevator and hot tub and pool)

The room smelled of cigarette smoke (badly). The elevator was not working and we were on the 3rd floor. We had to leave the window open all night because of the smoke smell. 4am a trash truck came to pick up the trash and had the "beep, beep, beep" going. The worst hotel stay ever.

The ac smells of mold could not be used The bed had to be remade because of stuff in the bed The lobby smells of perfume and mold
