La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Glenwood Springs

I was in town to assist with my father's discharge from a nearby hospital and needed a quick place to stay to get him on a flight home. The photos of this hotel are highly inaccurate and in reality, it is in need of a renovation. It was dark inside and did not feel clean. Staff seemed tired. I did not see any housekeeping staff and ended up leaving a night early because of an unexpected and aggressive confrontation with someone in a neighboring room. The walls in the hotel are paper thin. I had my own room across the hall but apparently, he could hear a conversation my father was having with a family member about his hospitalization. Instead of politely knocking and asking him to lower his voice, he barged into the room and threatened my father. I just so happened to be there at the time this happened because we were attempting to leave the hotel together for the morning and it was absolutely terrifying. I realize that this is not something that could have been prevented by hotel staff but overall, I did not feel safe there and as a female traveler, I cancelled the following night's reservation and made arrangements for my father to get home a day early. We reported this to the hotel staff and they made an effort to knock on the perpetrator's door but he did not answer, to my knowledge. Just an overall poor experience and unfortunately, would not recommend.

Good place to pass a good vacation pet friendly close to places breakfast including ok rooms ok good internet and fast food indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi gym tv and music on summer is great for outdoor activity great deals and prices on the hotel

The staff was very friendly, the lobby was welcoming,, hotel is in a good location. The pillows were nice, the bed was hard. The room was a little small right next to the elevator and ice machine needless to say it was noisy our room was a conjoining room so you could hear everything.

Lovely public places. Main lobby has fireplace, comfortable chairs for relaxing, dining area is lovely with some seats next to an Inner patio. Breakfast was in incredible with home cooked, two varieties of potatoes, sausages, fresh eggs, cooked pepper, a great homemade sauce, plus fresh cut cantaloupe, and everything else. We go here every time we go to Glenwood.

This is a really great place to stay!!! Professional & friendly staff, clean rooms & great breakfast! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. The location is perfect & the town nearby is perfect with nice restaurants, shopping & culture.
