Comfort Suites Denver near Anschutz Medical Campus

My truck was stolen in the side parking lot, it was locked and when I approached the front desk I was informed that there are no cameras on the side of the building. I requested seeing the footage of the front of the hotel and was informed that only management or the police can review footage. I don't know how many vehicles are stolen from this site, but I know they were watching the lot. I would not recommend this area.

Stopped here enroute to ski in Vail. This hotel was new, clean at a good price. Denver hotels are quite expensive. This hotel had a nice pool and an excellent breakfast. It was a bit off I-70 for us but it was nice to see the medical center complex. Otherwise neighborhood was a bit sketchy.

I stayed there for 1 night. The checking was fast. The overall cleanness is 3 out of five. Some furniture in the room was tired. But breakfast, To my surprise was fine. If you want park your car , you need to take pass. Nobody told me about this on check in.

Very unfriendly check-in clerk. Beautiful glass door showers, but husband had a hard time opening and closing slider. it wouldn't close all the way and water sprayed out. I was able to easily fully close door, but then had to struggle to open it--trapped!! Otherwise, room was good-clean. Checkout clerk was pleasant and said that she would have maintenance service shower door. I got the impression that this is a common occurrence.

After a very long night/ morning of trying to find a place to checknin we were blessed to meet front desk clerk Edger. He went beyond to accommodate us to get a room upon arrival. He was very friendly and caring. Keep up the amazing job , the world needs more people like him. Thank you Edger for you kindness. Juanita and girls
