Ayres Hotel Seal Beach

First night spoiled by a bunch of teenagers running, yelling, laughing and hammering on doors till 1145 pm. I called a few times but no one could bring these kids under control. No compensation offered. Some guests asked and got wine and snacks. Breakfast was cold and unappatizing.

The rooms are very spacious and the beds were comfortable. I like that the sink is in separate area from the toilet and shower. There was a fridge and microwave in the room which was useful. Breakfast is cooked fresh and was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - BEWARE OF UPCHARGE WITH THIS HOTEL!! At check-in, I had a pleasant experience initially with a female employee named Cheryle; however, the assistant general manager, whose first name was Adam, came up and asked for additional information and proceeded to upcharge me for an “error in the room rate.” Adam acknowledged that the error was not my fault and was a very rare issue, yet he still upcharged me. The next customer in line WAS ALSO UPCHARGED for the same “very rare error.” They charged nearly $40 more for the same room. I travel a lot and have never seen a supposed manager position not side with the customer when they have documented proof of the rate and an acknowledgment that it wasn't the customer's fault. The General Manager needs to find a better representative for their brand. Adam does no fit he bill!

Our stay at Ayres in Seal Beach was beyond amazing and memorable. Everyone from the front desk to the manager were kind and welcoming. We will definitely come back. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Great stay at Ayres! Quality service and amazing people!

Warm, friendly, helpful and professional front desk staff. Tasty breakfast prepared by chef and kitchen staff. Clean, comfortable room. I appreciate this hotel at every visit. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub at this January 2025 visit, but have done so many times before.
