The rooms are just gross. Old pilled sheets, stinky, musty bathrooms, shredded curtains, scratched floors and broken bathroom vanities, and ONE mirror in the entire place that was less than 2ft square. Couldnât check out fast enough, and wish I had stayed further from the ocean to find a nicer place.

We were due to stay this week, but when we saw the room we decided to leave. When we arrived a line was forming , apparently the desk is unmanned the majority of the time , there must have been 16 people in the queue by the time we checked in. When we got in the room it was obviously tired , it smelt of smoke and stale, the drapes and bed base were ripped , the bed base had dog hairs on it , the shower had mould on the sealant , the toilet seat was on the floor and a cup had a hair in it.The walls and wood work just looked grubby . On top of that we received a text the day before we arrived telling us that the kitchen was closed (which didnât matter to us) and building was being carried out on the adjacent building from early in the morning to early evening.Pets are allowed, which as dog owners we donât mind, but I think you can have them in all rooms, they should have specific rooms for pets and clean all dog hairs , they DONT !. When I asked for my money back, they said I would have to take it up with Booking.com, I called them and they said it was the hotelâs problem, I went back and forth before the hotel gave me the equivalent of 15% . I will be taking this further but in the meantime I want people to know how rough this place is.

Lame. This place advertises beautiful views of the ocean from spacious rooms/suites. What we got was a cramped suite with a view of the parking lot. Weâd booked a Family Room and the photos on their website show pictures of a bed in a large room with plenty of space to walk around and additional furniture. The second bedroom shown is smaller but still adequate. What we got was one room with a bed that took up most of the space and had no storage for luggage as the small closet was repurposed as the âkitchen.â There were no nightstands, lamps, desks, chairs, etc. Just a bed and a table with a TV on it. Also, the heat/AC unit didnât work so the room was very cold. The other bedroom was so small that the bed took up nearly all of the floor space - so much so that the door only opened about halfway because it bumped into the bed. The bathroom was spacious so I guess that was nice? It only had about 1/4 roll of toilet paper and no backup roll soâŠyeah. đ€·ââïž The entire suite felt rundown - lots of chipped paint, dings and stains on the walls, and a broken set of blinds on the window. There was only 1 smoke alarm, although there was a mount in ceiling where one used to be. So, if a fire were to start youâd want to ensure it happened in the bedroom with the smoke alarm. đ„ For the money this was a huge disappointment. The location of the hotel is great - right across from the beach and very close to the wharf. But, overall it sucked, was one of the worst rooms weâve ever had, was completely misrepresented on their booking site, and we couldnât wait to leave.

Stay here with friends for one night, staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There's a lovely view of the beach across the road from the sitting area. Location is great as it's walking distance to most places you'll want to see.

I've been going to the Casablanca Inn since the 1950s. Started as a child and happily returning over the years. My last two stays there have found it nearly impossible to talk to staff, was assessed charges that did not make sense, was not informed of $100 hold on my account. Could not reach the office to ask questions. It used to be you could speak with somebody by phone. Good luck on that account . Everything is done by recordings and text... maybe a sign of the times. After numerous callsc texts and finally locating and leaving a message with the owner of the hotel, I was still assessed to $35 fee with a statement that I had booked A reservation with a third party. This was not the case. I spoke directly to a person in the office, somehow reaching somebody there and asked specifically for a room that I wanted. That day I got lucky. Will never stay there again, a real shame, evidently lifetime customers returning are not any kind of priority And customer service is out the window there
