(general) The location of the hotel is convenient to many sights along the Wharf area including bay cruises and Alcatraz. Cable car lines are nearby to take you to Chinatown, North Beach, Union Square and the Financial District. NOTE: Effective October 16, 2006 this will be a non-smoking property. (0507/CH).
