Ocean Park Inn

This is a nice clean surf type vibe hotel. Beds are very comfortable. I had a corner room, it was roomy as was the bathroom. They have daily breakfast consisting of your normal fare. You have a Keurig coffee maker with four cups per day. If you want more they charge you. (Just go to breakfast and have a couple cups of coffee). Breakfast is from 6:30-9:00. The hallways have murals of the Pacific Beach area. Room has small closets, small refrigerator, safe and iron and ironing board. There are multiple grills,restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. They have a small aquarium in the lounge area. The pool and hot tub are small. Hot tub maybe hold 7 but it is hot!! Pool has 24 lounge chairs plus some pool furniture. The pool is heated. You can also get the USA Today paper daily no charge and weekly The Epoch Times. There are ear plugs provided, don’t know why. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no soap bar. It is all liquid containers on the wall. Just a heads up during April you will experience what they call Grey Days. Heavy fog in the morning and cool with wind. Go a few blocks inland and it will be warm no fog. Fog usually burns off by 1 pm.

Enjoyed our 4-night stay at Ocean Park Inn as we celebrated my wife's 70th birthday. Room service, cleanliness and ocean view was great.

What a wonderful hotel! It is just steps from the beach. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are comfortable and every person we dealt with, from check-in to check-out was incredibly friendly and helpful. Pat and Vanessa were just amazing people who made dining suggestions and were just all around wonderful. The breakfast was abundant, but my only suggestion would be to get better coffee.

We spent four nights here while vacationing in San Diego. The first part of our trip was a baseball vacation and we stayed near Petco Park. We then came out to the PB area to enjoy the beach vibe. The hotel was located in the center of everything. The pool area was nice. The breakfast was good (esp the mini waffle machine). The facility was light and bright giving off a beach vibe and the staff was kind. Highly recommended!

Great room facing the beach so could hear the ocean and see the sunset. The room was a good size with beds and pillows that were comfortable. We stayed 6 days and a couple of times could hear people in room next to us but for only a few minutes. And, there was little street noise and none after 10pm. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. Hope to return sometime!
