SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Redding

Plus side: rooms are clean, the property feels safe, the pool area is nice (although the hot tub has been filled in, so it's just the pool). Breakfast was sufficient, and typical of other hotels in the price range (waffles, eggs, sausage, assorted bread/muffins, cereal, etc.). The overall interior of the hotel is dated, the lighting is dim in the hallways. Breakfast was hit and miss on being stocked at all times.

This is an unpretentious hotel with small but clean rooms and an indoor pool. The hotel is located close to shopping and a large variety of fast food restaurants. Redding is suffering from a serious drug abuse problem, and we saw sickly sky-high "tweekers" on several corners and sidewalks in the neighborhood. For this reason, I cannot recommend this hotel if you plan to walk offsite. Upon check-in, we noticed that our bill was higher than calculated in our online reservation confirmation. The front desk clerk corrected this error after consulting with her supervisor, which was much appreciated.

The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is a great value. The room was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. We stayed 2 nights. After traveling around the area all day we looked forward to heading to the hotel to rest. The location is very peaceful. We have to go back next month and plan on staying there again.

The hotel is defiantly a good one to stay in. It is pet friendly, indoor pool and staff is very nice. They have a light breakfast that is okay my kids made waffles and that was it. the beds are nice, but the floor needs to be mopped after each guest checks out. My floor left a towel black after wiping up water.... other than that, I enjoyed the stay. They have a few homeless that linger in the fence line but in all the times I have stayed here I have never once been bothered by them, they seem to stick to themselves by the fence line, I have stayed here plenty of times and have never had an issue with them. I will be back again but I really hope they make housekeeping start mopping these rooms after guests check out they really need to do that .

It was clean quiet and comfortable room. AC worked great during a little heatwave when I stayed there. Great value for price. I would definitely recommend. Employees were friendly and they have a large TV channel selection including 3 Business News Channels. I rarely see at other hotels. I did not use wifi. but it have free wifi and free parking. This is a great choice for a stay in Redding, CA
