L'Horizon Resort & Spa Hermann Bungalows

Perfect in every sense. Worth every penny. Don’t think twice. You’ll regret not staying here. I’m telling you. There are many hotels, but only one Hermann Bungalows. You’ll be seeing people’s posts from here and thinking to yourself we should’ve listened to that odd review on trip advisor. Last chance, book it!

Great room w great view and amenities and service. The only thing was our toilet ran after flushing and needed to lift the handle. I didn’t call maintenance because it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t want them to fix it while we were here for only 2 nights. Given the exceptional service I’m sure they would fix it if asked.

L’Horizon feels like an oasis; you forget the rest of Palm Springs is so close by and accessible. The staff and attention to detail are impeccable. Lovely, high tech, rooms, with a total feeling of privacy but you can also use your own patio or open your sliding doors and feel more in the mix. This was our first visit but I am hoping it won’t be our last.

Gorgeous and stylish, but poorly designed and mediocre service. The rooms look beautiful, but the terrazzo floors are freezing. There is too much gadgetry that overly complicates simple tasks like turning on lights or using the toilet. The bathroom shower barely got hot enough and the oversized rain shower head meant sticking your head out to the side if you don’t want water falling directly on your head. The shower was also totally open with no door, which left me shivering. The bell, valet and front desk staff were often missing, which is very annoying when valet parking is the only option. The only dining is either room service or outdoor, and they canceled our dinner reservation last minute due to chilly weather, leaving us without a dining plan in a busy Friday night. Terribly overpriced for all of this. Stay somewhere else.
