National City Motel

horible people under the floors, two sided mirros took my money for deposit dirty bad room service old blankets, the indian guy wass an jerk said to wait for electrition to come and was only going to my room i was in.....................

The room was very clean and tidy upon first entry. It is a very welcome environment walking through the lobby especially when greeted by Nancy and Cecilia. Ana from housekeeping has also done a great job.

Dirty, cramped, noisy. Staff are nice, to nice for this dump. Stay away. This area is cramped and there is a reason it was the only hotel in the area with rooms. Its disgusting. It stinks. It is not fixable.

Went to San Diego to meet up with family for a event. Arrived at the hotel about 7 PM. Check in with well. Walked into the room. It reeked of cigarette smoke and I had asked for a non-smoking room. I noticed that there were cigarette burns in the bedding. The curtains were disgusting covered with white crusty stuff. There was a refrigerator that was banged up and a microwave that had a burn mark on the outside of it. The inside of the microwave was disgusting. You would not want to warm anything up in there because it was dirty. At the sink area on the wall there was a sign. Written in the wall was a derogatory remark regarding sex with a phone number included. No thank you. The bathroom door was filthy. It had cracks in it like it had been kicked open at one point. They were written remarks on the bathroom door. I went to use the bathroom and flush the toilet. It would not flush. I had to open up the back of the toilet and grab the chain to flush it. They had use a paperclip to hold the chain. We had to quickly shower and leave the hotel by 830. When we arrived back at the hotel at 1 PM the toilet had overflowed. I did not have time to ask for a refund and look for another room. Orbits contacted the hotel staff. No refund given. The staff acted like it was OK to have derogative sexual remarks on the walls, toilet not working ect.... Check out the photos.

The front desk staff were amazing. Good place for the price. Very clean rooms and they also offer a fridge and a microwave for your convenience. They treat you like family and are very nice and make you feel like your at home. Good place to stay in.
