Harbor House Inn is consistently 5/5 star compared to local hotels in a similar price point. The owners are often on premise to assure an outstanding experience is offered. Coffee shops, many restaurants and the harbor are all in walking distance from this hotel. Kid and dog friendly.

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I made some scheduling errors, and they helped me work it all out. The rooms are immaculate, and I look forward to staying with them again next week! They are in an excellent location and the rooms are affordable. I highly recommend.

We stayed in a deluxe king room with ocean view at the Harbor House Inn for 1-night in late Dec ($120). The harbor House is a typical roadside motel with 2 2-storey buildings separated by the interior parking area. Our room was large, with a comfortable king bed, glass-fronted refrigerator, and a small balcony with an obstructed view of Morro Rock 3 blocks away over the roofs of other buildings. The shower was fine, with instant hot water. The room was clean and well maintained, but somewhat dated. Overall, quiet and comfortable for an overnight stop but nothing special. Good value for the price.

Clean room. had our dogs with us. hot shower was nice which is always hit or miss at hotels. Grounds were clean. Good location. Liquor store next with good coffee. Grass area for dogs was small. bed was comfortable. I did not use but had a dog was tub outside
