Great location but everything else was substandard. We opted for an "upgrade" prior to our stay and got screwed. We payed extra money for a room without a view and it was filthy! There was mold on the window sills, water dripping down the walls, missing furniture, a light that would not turn off, and it was just generally grotty. We asked to move rooms but they said they were fully booked and couldn't. They actually did absolutely nothing! The people at the front desk were like robots. They would not acknowledge or try to address our complaint. Everyone we encountered, from the people parking our car to the front dest staff were...rude. I have one more stay at a Marriott in Seattle and then I am no longer staying at any Marriott property. They don't care, then I will try somewhere else that is not a Marriott property. I recommend the Portola Hotel across the way. The people there seemed friendly and engaged. Marriott has really gone downhill in recent years. It is sad and disappointing to see.

Excellent staff which made for an excellent stay…. Very accommodating from the off, valet parking was smooth, reception staff were superb and very flexible as we arrived early. Nobody could assist you enough and all requirements were met accordingly. Fantastic stay….

Great value property for this stay. I had wanted to stay previously but the hotel was about $200 more a night than the Hyatt Regency so I stayed there instead. This time the rate was the same as the Hyatt Regency so I booked and appreciated the welcome amenities. Was provided an elite labeled room for Bonvoy Ambassador status. It was spacious and comfortable with no noise issues for good sleep quality. Breakfast buffet was decent - the omelette line got busy. Location to the wharf made for a pleasant walk. Very pleasant front desk staff members. Only issue was the front entrance was quite congested with cars around 11am so it was tricky for rideshare pick ups at that time.

3 night stay on our road trip. Nice clean comfortable as you would expect from a Marriott. Valet parking, very expensive $45 a day, but in& out privileges. I paid as had rental car, first time driving in US & no idea where to park. So was just easy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of good places to eat nearby & we walked to aquarium with no issue was a good 30 min walk, but all flat & places to stop along the way.

I experienced a scary situation at this hotel. I was on a work trip and noticed a man hanging around the bar making conversation with anyone he could chat up and hung around all evening. When I went to the front desk in the evening to request a late check out he was there chatting up the receptionist. She asked if she could help me and what my room number was. He was right there next to us listening. I said I wasn’t comfortable giving my room number but she could look it up by the first few letters of my last name, hoping she would get the hint. The man left then I noticed he was waiting by the elevator keeping the door open. I waited until they closed then found him waiting by my room. I stopped when I saw him and called a male coworker I was on the work trip with. Safe to say I didn’t sleep well and will not be returning.
