Very friendly staff, nice lobby, rooms could use some updating. Lobby main entrance was under renovation when we were there. Breakfast was very good and they were accommodating of changes although food was overpriced. STK menu for lunch dinner absurdly overpriced (and we are used to high end places). But we booked a suite and got upgraded bc of bonvoy status to a mega suite which was really spacious. It’s def not nearly as high end as the W in Miami Beach but perfectly nice enough.

After hundreds of nights as a Marriott Ambassador Elite member, I’ve never encountered such a disappointing and unprofessional experience as I did at W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills. Despite the official check-in time being 3:00 PM, my room wasn’t ready until 6:00 PM. After a grueling 17-hour journey, I was left waiting in the lobby bar, repeatedly having to chase staff for updates. To make matters worse, the hotel’s elevators were out of service for hours during the stay, forcing me to carry my belongings up eight floors via the emergency staircase. The hotel’s idea of an apology? A bottle of wine and some sparkling water delivered the next day. To add insult to injury, they charge $5 for each parcel or delivery received, an absurd policy for a property of this supposed caliber. Also, if you opt for do not disturb, the hotel will call you every day at 11 to check if you need housekeeping. Meh... This experience fell far below the standards expected of both the Marriott and W brands. The service was disorganized, the staff was unprofessional, and the overall experience was not worth a fraction of the premium rate charged. I strongly advise against staying here.

This is my fifth time coming to this hotel in Westwood and I must say I’m never disappointed. If you were so lucky to have Mason greet you at the front desk from then on you will have such a fabulous time.. the rooms. Food, decor amd all around vibe is perfect dor families visiting Ucla or even LMU for that matter. Thank you W hotel for making our stay feel like home!

Not only was this stay our best Marriott experience, it was truly our best hotel experience ever! Why? The people!! We have stayed in many hotels (including some very high end ones), but never have we experienced such consistent five star service and attitude from staff. Literally every single person we encountered at this W Hotel went above and beyond. Everyone was so professional, friendly, and excelled at customer service. A few days before we arrived, Daniel Bruington reached out to check in about a specific parking need we had. I couldn't believe it! We met Daniel upon our arrival, and he was even more wonderful in person- Truly the standout at this hotel! It was clear the management at this hotel leads by example as evidenced by Daniel, and also Brian in valet. I also want to give a shout out for Richard at the front desk and Armando who is everywhere. The truth is, everyone at this hotel is outstanding, and you feel like royalty when staying here just because the staff all clearly care about you having a great experience. After this trip, we can honestly say we will purposely seek out Marriott hotels. We have already booked our next stay and cancelled our reservation at the on campus hotel that starts with an "L". Daniel and everyone at this hotel have made Marriott loyalists out of us! (For those who just want the basics- rooms are outstanding, beds are very comfy, location to UCLA and Westwood can't be beat!)

My wife and I had a wonderful overnight trip to the W! We received an email pre-trip from Daniel B., who was incredibly helpful in ensuring our stay was excellent. We are so impressed with the personalized experience Daniel provided- it made our trip very special. The room was very comfortable and had an excellent view. We will definitely be staying at the W again!
