After reading recent reviews, I was concerned about this stay up until the day of. This ended up being a wonderful overnight layover at this newly renovated property. We got into LAX around 8pm, and the complimentary shuttle picked us up. Usually, we get our digital key on the app, but we were informed that the system was not ready and to pick up our key cards at the front desk. We had to wait a little bit since there was only one person at the front desk; but the representative was fast, friendly, and efficient since we checked in online. The room was nicely decorated, modern, and very spacious. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was beautifully redone, shower water pressure good, and bath products were nice. Property was conveniently located next to a McDonalds and across the street from a Subway. Housekeeping was very attentive and delivered extra towels. In the early morning, we caught the shuttle back to LAX, and our driver was so much fun. She had the music on blast, and it was a good pick me upper. No coffee necessary. I was wide awake and arrived back at the airport with a huge smile on my face. Thanks for the great stay, and would definitely stay here again.

What a shambles. I booked and paid for a one-night stay 6 months previous when the hotel was known as La Quinta. In the imterim it was taken over by the Hilton but I was never notified, resulting in great difficulty in locating it. Worse still, they did not honor the original booking and I had to pay again! I've spent six weeks trying to get a refund contacting both the hotel itself and the Hilton's central Guest Assistance, without any success. The hotel just ignores me, while the GA responded thus: "We understand your request regarding both reservations, and we apologize for any problem this may have caused. We're not able to validate the stay as it has been updated as check out from our end. Thanks for your patience and understanding!". And that's that as far as they are concerned. Appalling service, I'm stunned that the Hilton could be so dismissive.

Decent hotel. BE ADVISED, THERE IS NO COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLE. If you want to get to LAX from this hotel, they will charge you! Their website falsely advertises that the shuttle to the airport is complimentary. We were surprised at checkout to have a “shuttle fee” tacked on to our bill.

Staying at the LaQuinta by Wyndham LAX was not the best stay I've experienced. A lot of construction. No breakfast buffet. Was given brown bag work 3 items (small water, apple, and apple juice) with a choice of a small muffin. Air condition leaked water and the carpet was wet. This is definitely an older property, which advertised as being more modern.
