Booked a night here for our annual dance retreat. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Our much-anticipated trip turned into an absolute disaster. We specifically requested adjoining rooms for the kids, who were buzzing with excitement to be next to each other. What did we get? A room with no electricity. Not a single working outletâno TVs, no lights, nothing. After trying to call the front desk, I was put on hold for what felt like an eternity. The lady on the other end claimed she had a long line of guests, but when I went downstairs, there was no one in sight. To make matters worse, the staff didn't even offer a discount for our trouble, and there was no maintenance on site to help resolve the issue. Eventually, we managed to switch to another room, away from the rest of our group - only to find it had the worst view imaginable. A giant piece of the building blocked the window, leaving the room dark and dreary. The kids were crushedâno adjoining rooms, no fun, and no light. This was supposed to be a memorable getaway, but instead, it's a trip weâd rather forget. Save yourself the disappointment and find a different hotel. This was a complete letdown.

Hotel was ok. Room was musty smelling. Trash was left on the floor from a previous guest. Stayed one night and got charged for two. Staff claims we damaged furniture and we didn't. I would never stay at his hotel again, wish we hadn't in the first place.

This is unacceptable. Earlier this afternoon prior to my arrival, front desk called me to ask me to change my room from double queen to master bed. I said sure. Ok , that was fine. I finally arrive to the hotel around 4:30p and notice the bathroom sink doesnât drain at all. Front desk was notified and said theyâd send someone asap. We waited and nobody showed so we went to dinner. We came back later and noticed the drain still doesnât work. I asked the front desk and said the serviceman said they fixed it but it will drain slowly still. Well, I tested it and it still didnât drain at all. I immediately go back downstairs and the Front desk man also said thereâs no room available to move me to, nor can they put me in another hotel for the night. By the way, I used a marriot bonvoy free room award certificate for tonight and expect it to be credited it back/ returned to my account asap. Why call to switch my room prior to arrival to a non-working bathroom? So shady. Why tell me it was fixed when it wasnât? Why lie? This is bad for Marriot Bonvoy. Obviously we left and went elsewhere for the night. And weâll never come back to this hotel. Full disclosure: Iâve been a marriot bonvoy/starwood member for at least 16 years and I write both good and bad reviews of all hotel chains on different online review platforms.

This hotel is hit and miss. They don't have many upgrade options, so the upgrade is the fourth floor on the side with the agricultural view. That does make for a very nice view. Last night's stay was rather pleasant. Check-in was a breeze, and their desk staff were friendly. Convenient parking, although no electric vehicle charging. They have a low emissions charging spot, but it serves no purpose. The location is as convenient as any in hollister. You'll be reasonably pleased with your stay as long as you don't pay more than about $130 per night. If you stay here and end up paying over $200 a night, you'll leave with no more than a two-star review. The room was comfortable, and the shower has plenty of hot water in good pressure. Housekeeping forgot to make the bed. Marriott is notorious for inconsistent housekeeping post covid. Parking is free but I wouldn't expect anything else at this location.

I will never stay at this hotel again as long as I live. I literally prefer to sleep in my car in the parking lot then I have to deal with the horrible attitude of the night staff here. First, I was told that there was no-one with my name that had a reservation, while standing outside in the cold. Oh, but they can't let you in until they confirm that you have a reservation so they leave you outside while they try to check and, surprise, their system is down and they can't check until it's back up. So they left me standing outside for 10 minutes after I had driven here for five hours from SoCal so that I could work early tomorrow. Guess what, hotel management? that's not the kind of reception you want when you arrive late at night after a long drive. He even threatened to "cancel the reservation if you're not nice". To make matters worse, the card reader on the side door is also broken. The door is poorly built, and light comes in from the hallway. I'm sure I could make a really long list of really horrible things about this hotel by tomorrow morning but I'll stop there. For heavens sake, was being a jerk like that really necessary?? Now I'm fuming and can't sleep and I still have to work all day tomorrow doing a very complex job.
