Hotel Description
Surrounded by gardens and palm trees the San Simeon Lodge has an outdoor heated pool and deck seating along with rooms with a view of the Pacific Ocean one block away. Select rooms at the hotel have separate seating areas and patios. Guests will find rooms with ocean views and all rooms offer a coffee machine a refrigerator a TV with cable channels and ironing facilities. Free WiFi is available throughout the San Simeon Lodge and public computers are available in the lobby. The fitness center is also available to guests as well as laundry facilities. San Simeon Bar and Grill offers local cuisine and has indoor and patio seating with a view of the ocean from every table. Happy hour is available every day as well as karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. Located on historic Highway 1 San Simeon Lodge from San Simeon Beach and 2 mi from San Simeon State Park. The Hearst Castle is 3 mi away.

Great location! It is quiet enough at night to hear the waves crashing from your room. It is only three miles away from the Hearst Castle visitor center. They have a nice pool area, but their fitness center had three broken machines, but that didn't stop us from exercising. A picturesque beach is within walking distance.Plenty of restaurants in the immediate area, and many more down the road in Cambria.

Very comfortable bed and linens, a short walk to the beach, good restaurant and bar on the premises. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms have a nice patio and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the ocean view. I really liked that I could back my car up to my room door making unloading and loading convenient.

Shabby carpet, no microwave, refrigerator froze food unless turned off. I don't mind paying $25 for my little non-shedding dog, but it should be per visit, not per night. Pleasant welcome, helpful staff. We will probably try somewhere else next time.

The gentlemen at the check in counter were the nicest and most friendly service people I have met in the last 5 years at any establishment. Thank you! Rooms were great and we loved having happy hour at the tables out front where we could overlook the ocean.
