Booked on the OYO website for solar eclipse, last room available, still expensive. Almost 4 hours driving there to discover it abandoned and closed. Called OYO and line disconnects when they transfer you to agent. I pushed new reservation and funnily enough they answered but were unable to assist with hotel refund.

I got a prepaid deal through Hotels.com and when I went to check in the manager couldnât find reservation. After multiple tries and showing him email confirmation he found it. Keep in mind he is smoking and the lobby was dump and smelled like an ashtray. Also he was unshaven and looked like he just woke up only it was 5:30 pm. Anyway back to the experience the manager said I donât have king room available but I have a double I said ok. Then the manager said I have to pay again and more. After arguing for a awhile I pulled up the double on Hotels.com same price as the king and that sent him over the top lol. So I called Hotels.com and they called the manager and he said NO! Hotels.com refunded my money and I spent nice night at the Quality Inn in Heber Springs, which I recommend. Avoid the OYO Hotel in Heber Springs there was so much smoke in the lobby I had to change my clothes after I left. Itâs very dirty and a bad experience. Thank You Hotels.com for taking care of me

Our family has stayed here many times. We have seen the own ship change and the place as well. We always get a room in the back because it quiets and away from the local drug traffic. The hotel itself though. One the price went up for the summer by 20.00 ok The mattress still in the plastic bag is only a cut above sleeping flat on the ground. The towels are so thin I had to use wash cloths to finish drying off after a shower that wouldnât drain. The rooms as mentioned by others are musty I just canât even begin to explain how disappointed I am to say we canât recommend this place anymore after staying here for so many years.

NO I WOULD NOT Checking into this Hotel at 1pm , we paid $85 bucks. We left our dog ( a chihuahua) in his crate in the room while we went out for the afternoon. Unfortunately due to accident we ended up in the Heber Springs ER for the patient to then be transported to Searcy Hospital. I went back to hotel at 5.30pm to explain the circumstances and check out Only TO BE TOLD the Owner wasnât there and they DONâT give Refunds, call back in morning. Too worried and upset about what was going to happen at next Hospital I couldnât deal with this now. This morning I called and spoke with Z the manager who has no customer service skills whatsoever said NO REFUNDS and maybe next time we stay he may do a small discount. There is no way in hell I would ever give them my business. I understand things happen beyond our control and being in a position of offering a service I know you can and do take care of customers better than this if you want repeat business . Not everything is about money.

This hotel has been one of the oldest and dearest in our town for over 40 years and has just recently changed ownership. It has now went up in prices. Very rude folks running the hotel. Nasty rooms and nasty surroundings. Such a shame that such a precious very homey and family oriented hotel is now where I would never refer anyone to it. I have always gave them as a #1 place to pick when visiting because of it being locally owned and now I would never refer anyone here again.
