Sonesta ES Suites Tucson

This is the worst place I’ve stayed in, I would rather be in the field sleeping in tents than stay another night at this hotel. I deep cleaned when I first got my room. The next day I woke up to bugs crawling up the wall and running around the sinks. 🤮🤮

My family of 4 stayed at Sonesta ES Suites Tucson Dec2024 and we were extremely disappointed with the filthy accommodations. We encountered stained walkways, sticky stair railings, dead bugs on window ledges, and dirty carpets. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets were sticky and dirty, ceiling fans were covered in dust, and the popcorn ceiling was grimy. The toilets and bathroom floors were unclean, and the refrigerator was dirty. The hot tub was brown, and the pool was murky. The laundry room was filthy, and the garbage was never emptied. Additionally, there was not enough hot water for four showers. Despite contacting guest relations, no solution was provided, and the room conditions did not improve. This trip, meant for family time and sightseeing, was ruined by the poor cleanliness and maintenance. We would not recommend this hotel and are seeking a response from corporate but keep getting routed back to the location.

The best thing about this property is that they seem to be trying to improve. The rooms are nicely painted in modern colors, and the furniture looks modern-ikea. The bed was comfy and clean. The staff are genuinely friendly. But the property is old: all our door handles were loose, the door jambs had fingerprints, and all the kitchen appliances had seen better days. Our kitchen island was rickety. The toilet and shower were older. The coffee they give you is not good. I was very disappointed, but couldn't change hotels because i made the mistake of booking through Expedia, which is usually not a good experience. No dice on a refund or hotel change. Our overall experience was just ok over 6 days. It wasn't what i expected, and their literature when you check in even warns you that your room might not look like the photos. Renter beware.

My stay at sunesta suites was great the staff is so great it was a excellent stay . The room was so clean and peaceful .staff was very friendly breakfast was great . Will use this hotel again . It's a vary nice place the night auditor bestie was very nice and sonie was excellent. When I seen her in morning . Better then when my uncle stayed .

We arrived with some trepidation, after reading some of the reviews, for a 4 night stay and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel showed full on all the booking websites so we arrived early yo get the best room, we were welcomed by Andy, a very nice guy, who gave us a choice of rooms with some suggestions which were the best ones to take. We were given a room upgrade to a loft, a big room which would sleep 6 people perfectly well. To be honest the room was a bit dated and the carpets a bit stained but overall the room was nice and clean. The rooms are exceptionally large having a full kitchen, including oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dish washer (no tablets), the aircon and ceiling vans cooled the room very well. The breakfast was very good, I am not sure what other reviews complain about with a grab and go, there was a good choice of cereals, bagels, toast wraps, pancakes and hot food, along with some fruit and the usual coffee and hot water. Perfectly adequate for a good start to a few days sight seeing. The hotel is on a main road but we didn't hear any noise and perfect for Cabino Canyon, Mt Lemmon and Saguaro East, all within 10 mins drive, the other major sights of Pima Air Museum and Titan Missile are a little drive but the road system is quick and efficient.
