The room was good. But, I was very dissatisfied at the way that this motel nickel and dimes guest with extra charges. This is a roadside motel, not a busy downtown motel, yet they add on an additional $12 for parking!! There should not be any extra parking fee for a motel located in the suburbs, and, if they do, it should certainly be made clear on the website, rather than just at check-in. They also add an extra charge for breakfast ... not a special breakfast with menu items and table service ... just the typical motel breakfast with scrambled egg-whites and cold cereal! The motel is a bit run down. And, there was only a single ice machine in operation when I stayed, YET they seem to fancy themselves as an upscale motel with pricey add-ons which should be included in the price of the room. Don't stay here, unless you like to be nickel and dimed for basic services!!

Perfect experience working with the Holiday Inn Chandler team on an event for our customers in the region. Malene, their event coordinator, made everything so simple and easy to manage since the beginning. Later, during the event, she managed to every single request with the best disposition. I totally recommend this hotel for any kind of event, but also to spend the night there. They have a great pool for those hot days in Phoenix
hope to have time next trip to enjoy it!

I’m so irritated and frustrated with this air quality bs that they have going on in Phoenix charging people $500 unexpectedly just random. Literally left early in the morning. Get here in the evening for three nights and end up getting $500 fee for smoking fee and we weren’t even in the room but to lay our heads. I’m gonna send them a bill for the fact that false advertisement with amenities that didn’t even work. For example, the pool and Jacuzzi were closed second nobody came in to do any housekeeping none of the days we were here and when I asked how they come about making that decision of which room they choose to make these charges on because we weren’t here and actually there’s a back door to this room that goes to a balcony where the traffic is located so we did have the back door open to the patio so I’m wondering like do they count the air coming in from the outside as you changing the quality of the air in the room or what I don’t know, but this is ridiculous and a rip off. I stay in various cities IHG‘s and have never had an issue except here in Phoenix, which Phoenix air quality already is an issue so yeah when you’re trying to provide quality air for your customers and guess take that into consideration that charging them a fee isn’t gonna make your air quality in your city any better. And don’t expect anybody to ever call you back on that because it’s a report a report that they pull out their butts and that you’re supposed to just be OK with that justification as to why they’re charging you.

The clerk who checked me in was rude. When I arrived she was helping another customer and I stood in line to be helped next. We three were the only people in the lobby. A couple minutes later a man walked in and stood to the side of me. After the clerk was done helping the customer in front of me, she looked at the man who came in after me and asked him how she could help. I had to butt in and say I was next. That same hotel clerk did not want to honor my prepaid room reservation through priceline. She said that she saw the reservation in the system but there was no indication I had pre-paid for the room. I handed her my receipt from priceline that showed I paid in full - room, tax, etc. - and she said the receipt didn't help her. Even though I pre-paid she told me that I she was going to charge my credit card (again) for the room, nightly parking fee, and put a hold on the card for $50 for incidentals. I let it go because I wanted to get some sleep and was planning on disputing the charges with the hotel manager or priceline, but the night auditor billed me correctly. This hotel charges $12/nt to park your car, even though it's a private lot and there is ample parking. It's simply price gouging. No free breakfast in the morning. The desk clerk that was there later in the night was very nice and customer service oriented. The one that was there the next morning was somewhere in the middle of the other two. The public areas are very nice and modern. The rooms and halls are dated and dark. That was my first and last time staying at that location. There are other Holiday Inn locations in Gilbert (the next city over) that are newer, have far better customer service, don't charge for parking, and have free breakfast is included. Try the locations at Gilbert Mesa-Gateway Airport or in Gilbert on Baseline Road.

Awful experience was charged $500 smoking fee when neither my wife nor I smoke, we didn’t even have anything we could light a fire with, no vaping, no lighter, no cigarettes! Won’t even discuss it with you because they have a very strict policy. Looking at other reviews on here obviously a nice scam they got going here. Definitely a problem with the sensor but didn’t want to discuss it with me. I am beyond furious at this point! Stay away from these guys!
