So happy that this motel in my home town was so clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had a mini-fridge, microwave and small table. The heater warmed up the room quickly. Check-in was fast. The gentleman working the front desk was polite and friendly. This motel has been upgraded since the last time I stayed a few years ago. I will definitely stay here again.

This was our second visit in this motel after 3 years as we really liked it . It's still very clean and nicely furnished in a modern style ! Microwave and fridge are in the room but no coffemaker and hairdryer ( a hairdryer is even not available at the front desk ) . The room has laminate instead of a ( probably old and dirty carpet ) what we liked most ! The man at the front desk is very (!) friendly ! We've also seen a guest laundry . The pool is very nice and clean , like everything in the motel ! WiFi is included but doesn't work always : sometimes it's good , sometimes not . If you don't mind that we'll highly recommend to stay here !

The first non-smoking room obviously had a smoker in it before me. It was also missing the TV remote control and the heater blew cold air. The desk clerk (who I got to know well after multiple trips to the office) said some rooms don't have remotes and some people smoke in the non-smoking rooms even though they aren't supposed to. (I guess they don't enforce that or clean the room thoroughly?) He gave me a key to try another room. This one had a heater that made a banging sound, but at least it didn't smell and it had a remote. Back to the office. The clerk said he'd check another room himself. He came back to say that the heat didn't work and that the room smelled "like someone's clothes after they've been in a swimming pool" (I think he meant "chlorine", as in bleach). I settled on the room that didn't smell; he gave me a plug-in heater.

Again, I had to stay here as the main hotel was sold out, it's clean, but requires some maintenance, the first room they gave me, the water faucet wasn't working, so I had to change rooms. The new one, clearly needs some wall painting as you can see in the pictures. One thing I noticed on both rooms, they've removed the desk, so I couldn't work. However, I can't complain, it's a Motel 6 @ 49.99 a room.

So , they didn't have the reservation but we did on paper from Hotels.com , anyway had to book there and then and fight it out with Hotel.com at a later date. Seems the new owner had cancelled or not uploaded reservations made before the take over date. To their credit the girl on reception did pursue the case and did refund our fee .Meanwhile the room appeared to be half renovated , new bathroom and bed lights , though sadly they weren't accessable from the bed . The curtains fell into the category , need upgrading... Windows covered with material boasting a perfusion of small holes letting in shafts of sunlight , very atmospheric maybe but impractical as an actual barrier to light. Probably won't be staying here on another occasion.
