Grand View Inn & Suites

Nice business travel location. Better than any of the Hilton's I have stayed at in Anchorage. Desk was helpful with what i needed wifi works fine, charging ports, decent bar and restaurant. Your not getting breakfast but you can get lunch and dinner. Waitress is also the bartender at lunch and is nice. Don"t be rude and these folks wont be rude to you. That"s the biggest thing i see on these reviews is a bunch of rude people. Its nice, non-price gouging hotel in Alaska. There is a Restaurant in the same parking lot that is decent, kind of a Hipster vibe but its a decent place to eat and the people are friendly.

We recommend this place. It was located in the heart of Wasilla, so you are near everything. Room was decent and clean. It had all the amenities and if it was not for having a room near the lobby, I don't think it would have been as noisy. We felt safe and comfortable. We will stay here again.

This hotel has potential but needs som updating. The beds are comfortable but really need new linens and comforters. Pillows are awful and also need to be changed out Rooms are adequate sized and provide plenty of room for bags. Walls are thin as you can hear others in the next room pretty clearly. The main door to the room looks like it has been picked several times there are wear spots. It appears that someone has definitely used some sort of device to open the door without a key multiple times - we left nothing of value in the room at anytime! Hotel needs to fix this by installing metal plates to prevent this - again not sure but the wear marks on the door tell a story. Install a room safe for guest to use Staff was very nice and friendly Again overall the motel has some nice looks just needs some updating - especially for the price they charge.

The rooms are clean and tidy; nothing remarkable. Right on the highway, so if your room is on that side, it'll be noisy. The housekeepers are friendly, sweet, and do a GREAT job. Can't commend them enough. However, the elevator broke down for about 4 days, which was inconvenient. A couple of days later, it broke down again. Sometimes the water wasn't very hot. Friends complained about the scratchy sheets but I didn't mind. Basically a satisfactory stay, but it definitely deserves its 2-star rating. Unremarkable.

We called to see if we could reserve an accessible room— as my grandmother has limited mobility and uses a walker. The woman at the front desk curtly said the hotel has no handicapped accessible rooms and then she hung up. What I’m the world?! Why so rude? And really— your hotel is not ADA compliant? Wow.
