Denali Grizzly Bear Resort

This was a very nice room with a beautiful view. That said the resort is a glorified campground. The food is provided by awful food trucks. 30 minutes free wifi for entire stay. 7 miles from Denali. Resort provided shuttle to Denali for $60 rt never mentioning a free shuttle across the street. Staff had very limited English and very little knowledge of the park. Liquor store had about 12 bottles of choices. Market was bare. Miscommunication caused me to miss my Denali tour.

WiFi sucks+ costing 35 a day tv reception horrible, heat unregulated had to keep windows open, no refrigerator, no hot water in bathroom sink,handle broken. Floor needs to be vacuum. Place across the street was fabulous. Will stay there next time. On a positive note staff was very friendly.

Very clean and the staff go out of your way to make your stay a pleasant one. They will attend to your requests in a timely manner and they are the only establishment in Denali park area who can help you warm your food (if you have diet restrictions and you carry your own food that needs to be heated). I would consider staying with "Denali Grizzly Bear Resort" first over other resorts in Denali Park area. This feedback is coming from someone who also stayed at "McKinley Chalet Resort". If you are driving your car, the parking spaces are very close to your rooms.

this restaurant was hard to get in at 5 o'clock tonight because they were short on servers so they couldn't fill all the tables but when we did get seated, we had two delicious grizzly burgers, double burgers and we had fries and side ordered onion rings. all was very good and the prices are about $40 out the door for two dinners. Service was very good. The room has a beautiful view. It can be highly recommended.

-Room had dirty towels -WiFi is $35/day -Coffee maker is disgusting -Has a shop but doesn’t open until 9 -Went to get a coffee and they don’t have any milk/cream etc. Was told to buy a jug of milk. If you’re going to sell coffee maybe they should open a jug of milk!! Place across the street has a restaurant/bar, free wifi, a coffee bar and is better situated. Just a way better option. Really mad I didn’t look at Denali Park Village don’t make the same mistake as me.
