We had to stay in the area for two nights and simply did not like the very high prices for hotels in Andalusia. I guess because many people travel through here on Spring Break. This place in Opp is an older motel. We found the room clean and nice. It had a brand new AC unit that stopped working. The family that runs the hotel came over and installed a new thermostat that did not work, so they moved us next door to another room and everything was just fine. There was no breakfast , the reason given that it was due to Covid. Given the price of $65.00 per night that I booked on Orbitz, I had no problem with that. We already had some fruit and granola bars, and the Caroline's fast market across the street had coffee. This is an older property, but we thought it was a good value. The swimming pool does not appear to be maintained, but all we wanted was a roomy clean room and we got it.

Had about 8 rooms. Why put everyone next to each other? Booked on Booking.com of course with a credit card. Then show up and they add a transaction fee if you use a credit card!! No breakfast/ coffee / take out . Nothing. Room was clean. Whole thing felt weird.

I have stayed in Opp AL on the way to beaches in the past at the excellent Best Western there. Unfortunately as their reputation grew, so did the price. So on this trip I tried the Executive Inn. The hotel is located where the highway to the beach used to go and the area is somewhat run down. The hotel itself is fine, with decent furnishings, the best bed I've ever slept in at this price, and working cable, wifi and plumbing. The family of proprietors were friendly and helpful. Near the office and their residence, stuff needing repair and their personal stuff was stacked up, but well out of the way of the rooms. The only off note in my room, which was just fine, was unpainted boards supporting the shower curtain, which was in the current curved style. Overall I would definitely stay there again unless their prices also start climbing.

Stayed there one night, it was supposed to have a bath tub but there was no drain plug, so I phone down to front desk and asked for one the man/owner got angry and said he didn't have one. Then we were supposed to get breakfast but they would NOT let us have breakfast not even a little bit of cereal for my 5 year old daughter they would not give. Family owned and no customer service, maids are family as well and I left an expensive flashlight phoned the next day saying 100% sure I left it and they would not give it back. The rooms are old, dumpy and smell bad.

My father is in extremely poor health. We booked a room for 2 nights to attend my aunts funeral. He slightly wet the sheets the first night there. We we’re ordered to leave the hotel or buy the bed when I asked clean linens.
