La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mobile

The facility had clothes washing capabilities which approved to be a very valuable asset when on an extended business trip. The facility was clean and the breakfast provided gave several options. I highly recommend if you are in the Mobile area.

Was a clean well maintained property bed was comfortable pillows were fluffy enough the evening checking staff was super sweet the lady who does the breakfast in the morning was amazing the only issue I have was about 4:30 a.m. there was a tall bald gentleman who was working I'm not sure if he was front desk or security however he was rude to the point that it was uncomfortable. He is the only reason I didn't put five stars

The LaQuinta in Mobile was perhaps the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The attendant was outside smoking when I arrived and made me wait about 10 minutes to check in. Then, the 4th floor room I was given was occupied and so I had to go back down and get another room. My room was in terrible condition with rusty door & window frames, loose wallpaper, badly scuffed walls, and smelled of mold. Fortunately the bed was fine, but the hotel and room was filthy and unkept otherwise.

The online FAQ linked to this hotel stated pets stayed free. Even though I brought this to the attention of 2 different front desk employees, I was charged $25. Also, the shower had mold and it leaked . I had to put a towel down so I didn’t hear it drip all night. Breakfast was quite good.

Clean hotel with free breakfast and accommodations for big dogs ($25 per pet per stay). About a 20 minute drive to downtown. Many restaurants and stores nearby. Friendly staff. Was told Dog rooms are on third and fourth floors. So had to use the elevator often. But they ran smoothly.
