This hotel is in a great location near the mall of America and other attractions and restaurants. Martha, the breakfast manager, was very helpful and kind. The pool engineer was also helpful in trying to get the pool heater to work. The rooms and bathroom are a little small.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever experienced in my life. I don't understand the rating of this hotel. My family stayed here for spring break from 3-23 to 3-27-25. We were assigned Room 400. As soon as we got to the room, we noticed the toilet seat was broken. I tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room did not work so I had to go down to the front desk to report this. This took us by surprise because we weren’t expecting to have an issue so soon and of all the things to be broken - it would have to be the toilet which we needed to use. We had to use the restroom in the lobby because we couldn't use the one in our room until someone came up to fix it. After the toilet was repaired we noticed that the sink next to the bathroom had a leak and realized we had to push down very hard on the faucet to stop the leak, and that didn’t always work. The TV in the bedroom closest to the bathroom stopped working and we could not get it back on with the remote in the room so we tried to call the front desk again and the phone did not work. Again, we had to go down to the front desk and report the problem. The person at the front desk gave us a different remote and we had to wait for someone to fix the phone. We were able to get the TV on with the second remote but the TV kept shutting off. We had to keep turning it on and then it would shut off. This went on for the entirety of our stay. The second remote we were given did not fix the problems we were having so we gave up. Someone came to fix the phone and told us that we had to switch the wires around which made no sense. Every time we had an issue we would have to leave the room and go to the front desk. From 6:00-6:50AM on the 24th, the only time we went to breakfast, there was no one at the front desk, no signage - nothing. I would pass by the front desk often and see no one there. The sofa bed mattress was old and dirty and my son could not sleep on it. Fortunately, we brought our own airbed from home. The kitchen sink was not stable and needed to be secured and there was something wrong with the garbage disposal. The thermostat should be checked because we had it set to 77 degrees because my mom was cold, and I know it was not that warm in the room. There was constant noise, 24/7. We could hear people running and making noise at all hours. Then there was the sound of planes all day and night. We were not aware that this hotel was so close to the airport or that planes would be flying overhead all day. We could not use the pool because unruly kids were in it all day and night. This stay was so bad that on the 28th I complained to the manager onsite, Evelyn Gallandt, and gave her a list of issues and requested that I be allowed to checkout a day early. I would never stay at this hotel again. I should be given a refund for this stay because it was horrific.

We had a great stay! Front desk was very welcoming. Thank you Martha H for a welcoming atmosphere for her delicious breakfast! She and all the employees seemed to genuinely care about the patrons! The fitness center is nice, multiple cardio machines, some weights. The pool was nice. Everything clean and well kept.

Bless Martha with her help today. I had my 4 kids with me and was struggling on going back and forth and looking for certain items. She went above and beyond today and helped me with everything. Im very grateful for her ! Without her it wouldve taken me all morning for breakfast. Thank you Martha !
