La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kokomo

A friend and I stopped overnight on the way home after a training session farther north in Indiana at this LaQuinta in Kokomo IN. I booked the room thru Expedia and paid thru them in advance. We checked in sometime after 7 PM, went to dinner at 8, returned at 10 PM and checked out at 10 AM the next morning. At check in I was asked for a credit card for incidentals and maybe a damage deposit? After check out I completed a survey. There were 2 groups staying there, s school soccer tournament group and people from a dog show. Place was clean and staff was pleasant. Next day (Sunday) or maybe Monday, I was looking at bills and noticed an $87 charge from the hotel. It was not itemized. Expedia called the hotel, they said the extra charge was for the use of the laundry and not refundable. We did not use the laundry and out room cards were not w away from us at any time. Expedia was informed that they do not do refunds. Someone screwed up and now I intend to contact Whyndom who owns LaQuinta. Wish me luck and my suggestion is do NOT use this place.

The front desk person gave us excel recommendations for dinner and a nail spa for pedicures. The morning front desk person was very friendly. Breakfast was great! Lots of different options. There is a hot water dispenser so we had hot chocolate for dessert. The location is close to food and shopping. Clean and quiet!

Very nice hotel in a very convenient location. I arrived to a friendly staff that checked me in promptly and professionally. My room was on the 3rd floor- it was clean and comfortable and everything I Have come to expect from the La Quinta Inn Brand. I did notice there was a pool that I was unable to use- but it sure did look nice! I enjoyed my stay at La Quinta By Wyndham in Kokomo. Thank you staff for doing a great job!

Check in was fast and easy. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good! Rooms were comfortable, very easy hotel to find and great for the 1 night we stayed . For breakfast they had waffles, eggs, sausage and rice with an assortment of muffins that were very tasty.

Night shift front desk lady was super friendly & easy to converse with . Very helpful & made me feel right at home the moment I saw her. We talked for over a half hour when I first got there. Not even about hotel stuff. She was just a good soul. Rooms were spotless, but hallways smelled stuffy and like dirty laundry. Other guests I saw were all living there for the past 20 months (direct quote) bc they are battery factory workers. So there was A LOT of random men all around inside and outside. but we're friendly to me. bathroom needed waaaay bigger towels and I'm a very small person. also there was just a little bar soap for washing ur hands and one tiny bar soup for showering which is not enough at all for 2+ people. needed a thicker comforter, and a bigger trash can at least 1 in the room. instead of the 6 inch tall trash can they had that only fit 2 empty pop cans in it and that's all!
